What data we collect
When you visit our shop or make a purchase, we collect the following data: contact details such as name, address, email and phone number, payment data such as card information and transaction details, order data such as purchased items, order history and returns, communication with our customer service, and device data such as IP address, browser and operating system.
Purpose of processing
We process your data exclusively for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your order, communicating with you as a customer, sending newsletters and marketing communications — only with your consent —, for fraud prevention and security, and for fulfilling legal obligations.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for contract fulfillment, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR for fulfilling legal obligations, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on legitimate interests, and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR based on your consent, for example for the newsletter.
Disclosure to third parties
We only disclose your data if this is necessary for contract fulfillment or if we are legally obliged to do so. We use Shopify Inc. as platform operator for hosting and payment processing, shipping service providers for the delivery of your order, and payment providers for secure processing of your payment. All service providers are contractually obliged to comply with the GDPR.
Transfer to third countries
Shopify partly processes data in the USA. The transfer takes place on the basis of the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR.
Storage duration
We only store your data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose. Commercial and tax documents are retained for up to 10 years in accordance with Section 257 HGB and Section 147 AO, respectively.
Your rights
You have the right to information about your stored data in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, to rectification of inaccurate data in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to erasure of your data in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, to restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, to data portability in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to object to processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, and to withdraw any given consent in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR.
